Lil Wayne Received A Pardon From Donald Trump, Avoiding Up to 10 Years in Prison
It’s WEEZY baby.
Lil Wayne has been saved from potentially 10 years in federal penitentiary.
The rapper had already pled guilty to a federal firearms charge in December of 2020.
Now, instead of facing 10 years in the pen, Wayne is a free man again. Trump also pardoned 72 other people, including the rapper Kodak Black.
Wayne and Black’s lawyer Bradford Cohen said in a statement, “These pardons is a perfect example of this administration following up on its reforms and commitments. Thank you to President Trump for his advocacy and dedication to justice reform."
Wayne met with the President in 2020 to discuss the “platinum plan” that received much public attention after Ice Cube’s efforts to help the black community.
With Wayne free, he must be feeling EXACTLY like this right now.
It ain’t his birthday, but Wayne definitely got his name on a cake right now.
