Did the Packers Just Make the Worst Decision in NFL History?

Fourth down.

On the 8 yard line.

Down by 8, two minutes left in the game.

With the Super Bowl on line.

You have to go for it, right? No-brainer.

Somehow, the Green Bay Packers looked at this situation….and kicked a field goal.

First comment on this highlight video:

"Packers should have went for it. That field goal was a terrible call.”

Another comment: “Bro, the Packers really should’ve gone for the touchdown instead of the field goal, they could’ve tied the game or they could’ve went down fighting at least.”

And another, “‘Why did Green Bay kick a field goal?’ is going to become the new ‘Why didn't Seattle run it?’"

It’s the question everyone who watched this game is asking:

Why in the world did the Packers give the ball back to Tom Brady — while down 8 — instead of trying to tie the game?

Times like this are when people suggest the NFL is rigged or someone had money on the game, and it’s easy to see why people question it.

It makes NO SENSE for the Packers to give the ball back without trying to score a touchdown here.

Did the Packers professional football coach Matt LaFleur really mess up this bad?

Who knows.

What’s for sure is people will remember this battle of legendary QBs for all-time, and wonder why the Packers didn’t let Aaron Rodgers have a shot to tie the Bucs and Tom Brady.

What an ending.

People are already calling for Packers coach Matt LaFleur to get fired for this.

They might get their wish after this!
