Vikings Star Adam Thielen is Wearing Alex Trebek Cleats as a Tribute

The world lost a true original last week when Jeopardy host Alex Trebek passed away.

Tonight, Vikings star wide receiver Adam Thielen is wearing custom cleats with Alex Trebek drawn on the side in honor of his memory.

The NFL doesn’t let players wear highly customized shoes like this during the game, but Thielen is at least going to bust the on during warmups.

"I feel like no matter where you were from I feel like Jeopardy was a part of all of our lives in some way," said Dan Gamache, the artist who drew on the cleats.
