Lady Tells Cops "I Have to Poop so Bad" and Leads Them On High-Speed Chase
Ever needed to go real bad?
Bad enough that you led the police on a high speed chase?
One Oklahoma woman claimed she needed to do just that.
28-year-old Emily Owings was stopped by an Enid PD officer for not wearing a seatbelt. When the officer found she had a warrant out for her arrest and a suspended license — and he needed to arrest her and bring her in — he got a long list of excuses - including that she needed to poop.
"Your license is suspended," the officer said.
"Why?" Emily Owings asked.
"I don't know," the officer said.
"I didn't know that," Owings said.
"Now, I am waiting to see if you have warrants through Woods County," the officer said.
"But I have to poop so bad," Owings said.
…
"Why won't you just let me go?" Owings asked.
"Because your license is suspended!" the officer said.
"I'm sorry I didn't know," Owings said. "Otherwise I won't drive no more, but can I please go home and go poop?"
Owings then sped away, blowing stop signs and racing through a school zone before stopping and surrendering.
She was booked on charges including eluding, reckless driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Most importantly - she never took that poop. The Enid PD said she told the arresting officer and jailer who searched her ... the feeling had passed.
