Boxing Promoter Confident Anthony Joshua WILL Fight Tyson Fury If He Wins Next Fight

Tyson Fury is the WBC and lineal heavyweight champion of the world.

Anthony Joshua is the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion.

If Joshua wins his upcoming fight against Kubrat Pulev, then Joshua is going to fight Fury, and boxing fans will finally get an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world for the first time in years.

That’s according to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who has promoted several of Joshua’s fights.

“I am as close to 100 per cent as I can be that the Fury fight will happen if AJ wins on Saturday,” said Hearn.

Joshua has been accused of ducking Fury, who beat former champ Deontay Wilder with a technical knockout in February 2020.

Hearn explained that as long as Fury doesn’t opt for a warm-up fight, he thinks "It will be straight in and I think he is happy with that."

This would be a massive event, like Mayweather-Logan Paul levels.
