The Playboy Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin even featured architecture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, a ski slope, and their own chair lift.

Yet somehow business and interest dried up worldwide in the mid-1970s, and by 1986 every club had shut down.

In 2018, a Playboy Club was relaunched in New York City.
