Floyd Mayweather Tells Black Athletes to Stop Mocking Nate Robinson
After Jake Paul knocked out NBA star Nate Robinson, the memes were epic.
Now Robinson has a boxing legend in his corner: Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
"Nate, I’m proud of you and I will always stand behind all my brothers," Mayweather posted on Instagram. "I will never kick my brother when he’s down."
Mayweather then called out black athletes, especially NBA players for clowning Nate Rob.
"It’s ok for people to voice their opinions on social media, but no black athletes or black entertainers, especially black NBA players should make a mockery out of you,” said Mayweather.
For his part, Robinson thanks the people in his corner.
"To my coaches, trainers, fans, and teammates, I appreciate all of the time and support you guys put in with me,” Robinson wrote on Instagram. “It wasn’t the outcome that we wanted, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage that there has been."
For the NBA players want to clown on Robinson, maybe they should step in the ring with him next!
Now that would be something.
