Mr. Beast Opens Nationwide Burger Brand, Donates $150,000 to Barstool Restaurant Fund
Mr. Beast shot a video where he opened a restaurant giving away burgers (and cash).
Then he opened up MrBeast Burger for real.
MrBeast Burger delivers to 300 locations nationwide.
The app got so many orders — tens of thousands — that it crashed for a bit. The app became the most popular app in the entire app store.
MrBeast is using restaurant kitchens like those of some Brio Italian Grille and Buca di Beppo locations to get the food prepared. He is bolstering the jobs of food service workers at a time when it’s been extremely difficult for many.
At Buca di Beppo in Dallas, chef Jesse Rull said business has been “crazy” since he started cooking the burgers.
“Yesterday, we sold $7,000 worth of burgers,” Chef Rull told The Dallas Morning News.
And MrBeast didn’t stop there.
When Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports called on Mr Beast to donate to his fund supporting restaurants that have had trouble, MrBeast stepped up to the plate with $150,000 — a mere 15 minutes after being tagged on Twitter.
Mr Beast’s stated goal is to ultimately open hundreds of food banks and homless shelters.
