Who Rode it Better: These Dolphins or This Surfer on a 100 Foot Wave

Now here’s a battle we need.

Who rode the waves better?

This pod of dolphins? Or this surfer on a 100 foot wave?

Let’s start with the man.

Pro surfer Sebastian Steudtner rode an absolutely massive wave off the coast of Nazare, Portugal.

This spot off the coast of Portugal has been drawing the bravest surfers for years because of the legendary huge waves. Here’s a couple videos on it, and how those waves are made.

The largest and meanest waves in the world slam into a headland in Portugal called Nazaré. Such is this monster break it often breaks those brave - or crazy ...

Now for the dolphins.

This pod of dolphins was actually riding a wave and jumping for joy.

Perhaps not as impressive as the man on a 100 foot wave, but definite points for synchronized surfing.

And just for fun, a bonus photo of a dolphin hearing a baby’s heartbeat in the womb.

So who you got in the interspecies surf contest? Man, or marine mammal?
