Britney Spears Fans Are MAD At How Diane Sawyer Treated Her, and They Have a Point
This is pretty wild.
ABC’s Diane Sawyer interviewed a young Britney Spears in 2003, and made mention of a woman that wanted to kill Britney.
And Sawyer took the side of the woman that wanted to kill Britney.
Sawyer then went on to try and shame Britney for breaking up with Justin Timberlake and taking sexy photos for a magazine.
All in all, a serious guilt trip from a lady that’s supposed to be a reporter!
Britney fans are understandably pissed now that this old interview has come to light, with one writing, “I don't actually remember this interview in real time, so rewatching it this past weekend sparked a rage inside me that I didn't know I had.”
This all came out with the release FX documentary “Framing Britney Spears.” The movie covers Spears’s career all the way to the strange current legal conservatorship over her life controlled by her father Jamie Spears.
“Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person’s life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens,” said Spears after the film’s release.
In other words, leave Britney alone!
