Daft Punk have made some of the most enjoyable songs of all time.

And now, after almost 30 years, the hugely popular dance and pop hitmakers have broken up.

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo formed Daft Punk in Paris in 1993, and gained worldwide recognition in 1997 with “Around the World” and “Da Funk.”

When Daft Punk dropped One More Time, they became absolute superstars. The video has nearly 300 million views despite being released on YouTube many years after it hit radio and MTV.

In recent years, Daft Punk has done much of their best work with collaborations with some of the greatest artists of all time.

With The Stokes lead singer Julian Casablancas on vocals, Daft Punk came out with Instant Crush.

With Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk made the insanely popular Get Lucky.

Pharrell also joined Daft Punk to create Lose Yourself to Dance.

I Feel it Coming, made with The Weeknd, might be their crowning achievement. Daft Punk collaborated with The Weeknd on Starboy as well, but this track here is absolutely immortal.

And of course Kanye West famously sampled Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger to make Stronger.

For a couple of a bit deeper Daft Punk cuts, Doin it Right and Something About Us didn’t hit quite as big as many of their other singles, but these songs are LIT.

With this greatest hits, Daft Punk will go down as all-time great artists, and the top of their genre.
