Tiger Woods Taken to Hospital in Los Angeles After Car Accident
Tiger Woods was injured in a crash in Ranchos Palos Verdes this morning.
Fire crews had to use the jaws of life to get him out of his vehicle.
He is currently in surgery for “multiple” leg injuries.
Woods was in California for a two-day shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV after serving as host for the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational over the weekend. Woods was giving on-course lessons to a number of celebrities, including Dwayne Wade and David Spade.
Woods last competed in a tournament at the PNC Championship on Dec. 20 in Orlando, where he played with his son. He then had a microdiscectomy procedure to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. That was his fifth back surgery, and the first since his spinal fusion in April 2017.
Hopefully Woods makes a full recovery.
