Elon Musk Shared Dogecoin Memes to Celebrate it's Price Increase
To the moon?
Elon Musk said he was taking a break from Twitter, and then went right back on anyway to share memes of the hottest cryptocurrency — Dogecoin.
Dogecoin pumped up 50% on Thursday to around $0.059 per coin.
“No highs, no lows, only Doge,” tweeted Musk.
He also tweeted “Doge” with a picture of a rocket shooting towards the moon.
Musk recently said it would be the most “entertaining and ironic outcome” if dogecoin “becomes the currency of Earth in the future.”
On Jan. 29, DOGE surged more than 800% to about $0.082 per coin, with groups like the Reddit trading forum WallStreetBets helping pump the coin.
Bitcoin investor Tyler Winklevoss also showed love for DOGE.
Is DOGE going to the moon or ready to collapse again?
Who knows.
The people seem to love it though.
