Jake Paul Accepts Dana White's Bet, Stakes $2 Million That He Will Beat Ben Askren
Money talks.
Jake Paul has been talking a lot of smack about his upcoming boxing match with MMA fighter Ben Askren and possible matches with Conor McGregor and others.
And Paul is willing to put his money where his mouth is.
After UFC boss Dana White said, “I hope you can bet on this thing, cause I’ll bet a million dollars that he loses this f*cking fight,” Paul challenged White to put his money on the line.
Paul even upped the ante to $2 million.
Snoop Dogg also challenged Dana White to a $2 million dollar bet.
"You say you got a million?! You’re the CEO of UFC. You got more than a million. Put up TWO. Put up $2 million and we’ll match it,” said Snoop Dogg. "Yeah, I got Jake. Fight night. That's my guy. That's my dog in the fight. $2 million. Holla at me, Dana White."
The rapper apparently has a lot of confidence in Paul after witnessing him knockout NBA star Nate Robinson.
White had some other remarks about Paul’s upcoming fight.
“Let’s be honest, Jake Paul isn’t a f*cking boxer,” White said. “This guy’s a f*cking YouTube kid. Zab, no bullsh*t, you’re hanging out with the kid, you know him. You’re saying he can fight? Zab Judah said he can fight….The kid that he’s going to fight is a wrestler. A real good wrestler, decorated wrestler, but he’s actually fought real guys. He’s been a world champion in other organizations.”
A lot of MMA analysts expect Askren to give Paul a real hard time.
Ben Askren might be known for his wrestling, but he is a professional fighter that knows how to make a physical contest difficult. Askren is going to lean on Paul. He’s going to clinch.
And this fight is going to be entertaining AF.
