Was Megan Thee Stallion Shot by Tory Lanez? Her Attorneys Say Yes

Megan Thee Stallion is a lot like Cardi B, only she named herself after a male horse instead of Bacardi rum.

Also, Megan says she was shot by rapper Tory Lanez.

The two were reportedly dating according to some rumors before the alleged shooting. Here they are in happier times.

It was first reported in July that Megan had cut her foot on some glass, but on August 20, Megan said she was shot by Lanez in a video live on Instagram.

"Yes, this n***a Tory shot me…I didn't tell the police nothing, because I didn't want us to get in no more trouble than we was about to get in," she said.

On September 25, Lanez released a song where he said “Megan people tryna frame me…How the f*ck you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons?”

In October, Megan’s attorneys reaffirmed her claim and said Lanez is running a “smear campaign” against her.

For now, Lanez is still facing a trial over the incident. Maybe then we will know for sure what happened!

One thing is for sure, this sure is no Biggie and Tupac situation. With everything else going on in 2020, at least we can take comfort that rap beefs have calmed down since back in the day.
