Seven Foot Batman Statue Erected in Burbank, California

Look out criminals.

Batman is watching.

Burbank, California, has erected a seven foot tall statue of the Caped Crusader in the city.

DC Comics artist and executive Jim Lee unveiled the statue, which is based on his rendition of the Dark Knight. Digital sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra designed the statue with a team of artisans from Burbank’s American Fine Arts Foundry and Fabrication.

Not long ago, Captain America was similarly immortalized in Brooklyn, New York.

Unlike Batman though, Captain America was only on limited display, and was moved out of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park after a few months on display.

Now what kind of way is that to treat an American hero?
