Auburn Fired Their Football Coach and He's Walking Away With $21 Million

The NCAA doesn’t let college football players make serious money for playing one of the most popular sports in America.

Coaches on the other hand?

Making bank!

The University of Auburn just fired their football coach Gus Malzahn.

Malzahn, for getting fired, is walking away with $21 million.

Imagine getting $21 million for getting fired!

Must be nice!

And this isn’t rare, either. Over a dozen college football coaches have buyouts over $10 million.

A lot people think the players should be making some of that money, and states like California are starting to make it happen with new laws.

It’s especially strange that football players can’t get really paid by colleges when the NFL won’t let them play until they reach a certain age.

Maybe a G-League for football will emerge in the future!
