James Harden Is Chucking Balls At Teammates and Starting Fights to Get Traded
James Harden really wants out of Houston.
So badly, it seems, that he is pulling the disgruntled teammate card to get his way.
In practice, Harden is starting “verbal altercations” and threw a ball at rookie Jae’Sean Tate. The ball missed Tate, but this created a serious enough confrontation to make the news.
This reminds many of how Jimmy Butler forced his way out of Minnesota, although Butler beat up his teammates figuratively by beating the shit out of them in a practice game, not by actually beating them with a basketball.
Harden by all accounts forced the team to trade for his old friend and teammate Russell Westbrook last year, at great cost — several first round picks plus Chris Paul, who the Thunder were able to get multiple assets for this year.
There have been reports Harden wants to go to Philadelphia or Brooklyn, but one thing is for certain.
Houston, we have a problem.
