Master P is Negotiating with Adidas to Buy Reebok

Percy Miller, aka Master P, is in negotiations to buy Reebok, along with former NBA star Baron Davis.

Adidas bought Reebok in August 2005 for for $3.8 billion.

Now, according to Forbes, Adidas is seeking $2.4 billion to sell Reebok. Master P says they're "prepared financially" after a couple months of negotiations. Master P's net worth has been estimated at $200 million.

Whether Master P has silent partners or private bank backing is not known publicly.

"These companies have been benefiting off us, this could be history for this company going Black-owned," said Master P. “Imagine if Michael Jordan owned Reebok? That's what I'm talking about making history."

For his part, Davis said, “'I think Reebok is being undervalued.”

Reebok's net sales are down 7% in the third quarter of 2020, falling to $489.4 million. Reebok’s sales fell a reported 44 percent in the prior quarter.

Looks like Baron Davis and Master P think they can dominate in the 4th quarter.

Baron Davis was always pretty good at that!
