Bam Margera Was Officially Kicked Off "Jackass 4" For Violating His Contract
Jackass star Bam Margera has been kicked off the new film Jackass 4 for an undisclosed violation of his contract.
Because of Margera’s history of drug use, his contract included stipulations for routine drug tests, staying sober, blowing into a breathalyzer, taking medication, and seeing a psychologist while on the job.
There has been no reporting on which specific condition got Margera booted from the film.
Bam previously called for a boycott of "Jackass 4" because of these conditions, but then recanted and said he was getting help.
He had disparaged the Jackass team a few times during the shooting of the new movie.
No word yet whether anything has been shot with Bam already and if it might still be used.
The new Jackass film has had other issues as well, with stars Steve O and Johnny Knoxville hospitalized after two days of filming. The two were jumping on a full-speed treadmill while playing band instruments like the tuba.
Johnny is 49 and Steve O is 46, so taking shots on camera can’t be as easy as it used to be for them. Both will reportedly resume shooting shortly once they recuperate. “Screen Rant” reported that the Knoxville and Steve O are not critically injured and will return to work when fit to do so.
