Tim Tebow is Retiring From Professional Baseball
Former NFL quarterback turned New York Met Tim Tebow is retiring from professional baseball.
Tebow actually made the AA All-Star team after picking baseball back up at the age of 28, but he could never quite reach the big leagues.
In 2018, Tebow hit .273 with a .734 OPS at Double-A Binghamton before getting injured.
Tebow homered in his first pro at-bat.
He also homered after greeting this young fan with autism.
Tebow won two national titles in football with the Florida Gators and a playoff game starting at QB for the Denver Broncos, but he might end up being known more for his charity work.
Tebow recently hosted his Night to Shine event giving a special moment to people with special needs.
Whatever Tebow does next, we wish him good luck.
