Redmayne played the brilliant physicist Stephen Hawking in the biography film, The Theory of Everything in 2014 and won an Oscar for Best Actor. He got his second Oscar nomination in 2016 for his portrayal of Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl. Eddie fell in love with a lady named Hannah Bagshawe who is a financial publicist. They were married on December 15, 2014, amongst all of Redmayne’s Oscar buzz. They have two children, a daughter born in 2016 and a son born in 2018.
