10. Panama City Beach, Florida

Panama City Beach is a pretty waterfront town on the Gulf of Mexico in Northwest Florida. It has been a popular destination for Spring breakers for years now. It has 27 miles of gorgeous white sand beaches to have some fun in the sun. You can go scuba diving and enjoy delicious fresh seafood at your choice of dozens of restaurants. Nearby the town is St. Andrew’s State Park to go exploring on the hiking trials. If you even want to see some animals the city has Zoo World. Night life is very good here, home to the biggest club in the U.S.A, Club La Vela. The only downside is that the city has banned drinking on the beach.

9. Daytona Beach, Florida

On Florida’s Atlantic Ocean side is Daytona Beach, home of the famous Nascar Daytona 500 race. It has a boardwalk full of arcade games and rides, also a waterpark steps away from the 16 miles of beach. During the day you can stay busy checking out the rock climbing walls, beach volleyball and frisbee tournaments. At night their are many top notch clubs and bars such as Razzles, Aqua and Ocean Deck. They even have English style red double-decker buses that give free rides to all the Spring breakers.

8. Cancun, Mexico

Cancun is a city in Southeast Mexico located on the Northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. The city is on the Caribbean Sea and is an extremely popular tourist destination. It’s reputation is a party town making it a perfect spot to go on Spring break. Drink tequila on the beach, go fishing, or even explore ancient Mayan ruins, you will never get bored in Cancun. Considered to have one of the best night life in Latin America, be prepared to have a fiesta while you’re there.

7. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

With picture-perfect beaches and calm warm waters, you cannot go wrong with taking a break from hectic campus life in Punta Cana. Located in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana is typically a golf resort, but in the recent decade college students have discovered this gem to let loose in the Spring. You can go on zip lines, check out the lagoons at the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park, listen and dance to traditional music of their culture and drink. Why not do it all, right?

6. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Puerto Vallarta is a Mexican resort town on it’s Pacific coast in Jalisco state. It is home to the famous church, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Puerto Vallarta is known for it’s beaches, water sports and fun nightlife full of lounges and night clubs, making it a great option for Spring Break. It has a boardwalk called El Malecon that runs parallel to Banderas Bay. They have tours that will take you out to sea to check out whales. If you’re into nature they have a huge botanical garden named Jardines Botánicos de Vallarta. If you just wanna party they have tons of clubs, bars and even tequila tasting parties; just like here at home with wine, except you aren’t expected to spit it out.

5. Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Located on the Southeastern coast of Florida, Fort Lauderdale is popular for it’s boating canals and beaches. Famous for it’s “Strip” a street filled with bars, clubs, restaurants and luxury hotels, Lauderdale is an excellent destination for this year’s Spring break. You can stay at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, day drink at the Elbow Room, eat at the delicious restaurant YOLO, shop at The Gallery at Beach Place and party it up at night at the notorious night club Exit 66. Fort Lauderdale has always been a staple in American Spring Break culture and probably always will be.

4. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas is on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. It’s a fun resort town known for it’s beautiful white beaches and night life. It’s home to Playa del Amor (lovers beach) and El Archo, a natural archway in the sea cliffs. Cabo is truly one of a kind. It is also well known for it’s deep sea fishing tours. If you’re not into fishing you can go whale and dolphin watching. There’s so much to do there to enjoy the wonders of the ocean; jet skiing, para sailing, banana boating, kite surfing and snorkeling. You can even take that special someone in your life horseback ridding down the beach to watch the sunset. At the clubs, the waitresses line up people into “conga lines” and pour tequila down their throats. Sounds like heaven on earth.

3. Nassau, Bahamas

On the island of New Providence, Nassau is the capital city of The Bahamas. It is a major cruise ship stop and is well known for it’s coral reefs perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. The city was built for tourism. It has a casino, resorts, top restaurants, night clubs, bars, a golf course and an aquarium. If you’re a movie buff, Nassau is home to The British Colonial Hotel, the hotel the James Bond movies were filmed in.

2. South Padre Island, Texas

Usually when you think of Texas, stuff like cowboys and football come to mind instead of beaches and islands. South Pedro Island is a resort town located off the southern coast of Texas in the Gulf of Mexico. There’s tons to do there like going out and seeing dolphins, checking out the world’s largest sandcastle, going fishing, going parasailing, etc. At night you can go out drinking at Louie’s Bar, the Quarterdeck, Wanna Wanna and many more.

1 Miami Beach, Florida

Connected by bridges to the Miami mainland, Miami Beach is an island city in south Florida. It is connected to South Beach that is world renowned for it’s reputation as a celebrity party city. Raging pool parties during the day and clubs as well as strip clubs that are open 24 hrs a day, Miami Beach is the top place to go for Spring break. It also hosts the Ultra Music festival, one of the top EDM festivals in the nation at the end of March.
