Wild turkeys roam the land perfect for hunting and there’s a dog kennel that houses 50 dogs. The estimated value of this property is $250 million.

The Odeon Tower Penthouse is a 35,000 square foot apartment on the very top of the famous Odeon Tower in Monaco. It was made by the luxury property developer, Groupe Marzocco and designed by the world renowned architect, Alexandre Giraldi. The Penthouse has its own private elevator and spans several floors. It even has a water slide that goes from the top floor to the infinity pool. The Penthouse has the best 360 degree view of the entire city and sea. The estimated value of this home is $330 million.

Le Palais Bulles is a truly unique home that means “The Bubble Palace” in english. It was designed by the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag and completed in 1989. It took 14 years to build. The whole mansion is made up of round rooms, meant to recreate the caves primitive men use to live in. Except it’s nothing like those caves because the entire place is absolutely lavished in all things luxury. The famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin owns the Bubble Palace as a vacation home. The property has three swimming pools, several types of gardens and even a 500 seat amphitheater just walking distance from the main house. It’s perfect for Pierre because he is able to host entire fashion shows there no problem.

Villa Les Cedres is set on a property of 35 acres, filled with beautiful Cedar trees to which the house is named after. The massive 18,000 square foot 14 bedroom estate was built in 1830. In 1904, the Belgium King, Leopold II, purchased the property. It has an Olympic size pool and a very large stable. The interior is decorated up to royalty standards; crystal chandeliers, intricate, handmade gilded wood work and 19th century portraits of the Belgium nobility. When the estate went up for sale in 2017, it was the most expensive private residence for sale in the world at the time. For $410 million you would think that’s pretty hard to beat, but within the last couple of years someone has done it.

Villa La Leopolda is named after its original owner, King Leopold II of Belgium. If you’re wondering how this one dude owned now two of the world’s most expensive homes, he’s a King. The funny thing is, he bought this estate to give to his mistress so they could be alone. Talk about a baller. Like his other mansion this one also has 14 bedrooms and sits on 50 acres. In the 1920’s it was redesigned by the American architect Ogden Codman Jr. In 1955, It was the setting for the Alfred Hitchcock film To Catch A Thief. Today it’s owned by Lily Safra, who is the widow of the Banker, Edmond Safra. It has a massive pool, an outdoor kitchen, a commercial greenhouse and a helipad. It is estimated to be worth $750 million dollars.

The Indian billionaire, Mukesh Ambani, decided to build himself a whole tower to be his house. It’s 27 stories high and 400,000 square feet. Only his family of six lives there, with accommodations to house a staff of 600. That’s 100 servants per family member if you do the math right. The first six floors is a garage. It can hold a lot of cars. One of the floors is a Hindu Temple and they have a movie theater that seats 50 people. The building was designed to withstand an earthquake up to 8.0 on the Richter scale and it also has 9 high speed elevators. The value of the tower mansion is estimated in between 1 and 2 billion dollars. It is the most expensive private residence in the world. That’s a lot of money but when the owner’s business handles 5 percent of all India’s exports, that’s pocket change.

While Buckingham Palace technically isn’t a private residence, because it’s owned by the English Crown, it’s still a house. The Queen of England and her family lives there and they are definitely loving it. The palace has 775 rooms total. This includes 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. Since 1837, Buckingham Palace became the official residence of the English Monarchy, even though they own several other castles all over the country. The Queen today spends her summers at Balmoral Castle in Scotland’s Highlands. The estimated value of Buckingham Palace is $2.9 billion, making it the most expensive home in the world.
