What you’ll need: (all of these items can be found at a local hardware store)

(1) large funnel.
(1)- 2 & 1/2 foot clear vinyl tubing, 1 inch x 3/4 inch (1 inch = diameter of the outside of tubing, 3/4 inch = diameter of inside of tubing)
(1) 3/4 inch PVC ball valve (threaded)
(1) 3/4 inch x 3 inch PVC nipple (male to male threaded)
(1) 3/4 inch Barb x 3/4 inch MPT poly adapter (male threaded)
(2) 1 & 1/4 inch hose clamps
(1) Flat-Head screwdriver

Step 1: Take your clear vinyl tubing and slip it onto the bottom spout of your large funnel. If your funnel’s spout is long then cut some off to shorten it ( this will reduce beer foam). A good length for the spout is 1 inch.

Step 2: Take one of your hose clamps and slip it where it fits around the tubing on the funnel’s spout. Then tighten the clamp with your flat head screwdriver.

Step 3: Take your 3/4 inch PVC ball valve and screw the 3/4 inch x 3 inch PVC nipple on one side.

Step 4: Take your 3/4 inch Barb x 3/4 inch MPT poly adapter and screw it into the other side of the PVC ball valve.

Step 5: Slip the other hose clamp on the end of the tubing. Don’t tighten it yet.

Step 6: Push the barbed end of the poly adapter into the tubing. Make sure it’s in all the way. Then slip the hose clamp onto the end of the tube where the barb is underneath.
