Top Tech Products Still to Come Out in 2019
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
Release Date: Fall 2019 (all release dates are for the North America)
Samsung boasts that its Galaxy A90 is the world’s first ‘affordable’ smart phone with 5G capability. It will cost around $830. That price is estimated based on what people in the UK pay for it now since it has already been released to them. It has also been released in Korea too. The exact date hasn’t been announced when it will come out in the US and Australia but it will definitely be this fall. Samsung says it’s an ‘affordable’ phone but that’s only in the context of the 5G market. What makes it affordable is that Samsung used cheaper materials to make it but it’s tech is very impressive. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has three rear cameras, consisting of a 48MP main camera, 5MP depth sensor, and 8MP snapper with ultra-wide lens. It of course has a front-facing camera which is 32MP. That’s a pretty high resolution for a camera people mainly take selfies with. There will be two versions of the phone, a 6 GB version and a 8 GB version. Samsung hasn’t said what processor it will have but it will probably either have the Exynos or the Snapdragon depending on the region like their other Galaxy products. The flagship feature of this phone is that it works with 5G. This is Samsung’s 5th smart 5G phone making them the top trailblazer in the market. Samsung made this phone so people could have the option of a 5G phone for under a grand in price. Make sure you keep track of your data usage though because that will add up fast with 5G.
16 inch MacBook Pro
Release Date: End of October
Apple has recently updated the MacBook Pro family already this year but there are credible rumors that a new 16 inch MacBook Pro with a 4k screen will come out later this year as well. Apple’s competitors have had 4k screens on their laptops for awhile now so people have been wondering when Apple was going to catch up with the times. In 2019, Apple added 8th and 9th generation Intel Coffee Lake refresh processors (with up to 8 cores) in the latest upgrade of the MacBook Pro, so this new 16 inch one will most likely have them too. Or these 16 inch MacBook Pros might include the highly anticipated Apple made processor chip, scheduled to come out later this year as well. The design of this new MacBook Pro is rumored to be very similar to the latest models but with even smaller bezels around the screen. Some tech experts are predicting that this new 16 inch screen MacBook Pro might completely replace the old 15 inch models. Remember back in 2012 when Apple use to sell a 17 inch screen MacBook Pros? These new MacBook Pros will probably have a price tag of around $3,000.

Apple Pro Display XDR
Release Date: Fall 2019
Apple announced the Apple Pro Display XDR this past summer in June. It is an extremely powerful new computer monitor with a insanely awesome screen. The Pro Display XDR will have a 32 inch 6k display with 1,000 nits of full screen brightness, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, 10 bit color and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It’s going to be released along with the new improved 2019 Mac Pro. They’ll be sold separately of course. The price for one of these monitors is $4,999. Now, that is a TON of money for a monitor but this is a Pro product, meaning it was produced for professionals like editors or graphic designers who could use all that color contrast. Its 6k screen has more than 20 million pixels. You probably don’t need that many if you just want to watch YouTube but it wouldn’t hurt. Apple will also be releasing the Pro Stand at the same time as well. It’s a multifunctional stand for the XDR that can adjust the height and the tilt of the display as well as turn the display into landscape mode or portrait mode. The Pro stand can be yours for the low price of $999.
iPad Pro
Release Date: Before the end of 2019 (highly rumored)
There are highly credible rumors floating around the internet that Apple will release an upgraded version of the iPad Pro before the end of 2019. Apple’s iPad Pro was first introduced in 2015. There has been 3 generations so far, the latest being the 2018 model The 2018 model has slimmed down the bezels and did away with the home button like the iPhone X. New accessories for the iPad Pro include the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil. It’s expected the upgraded 2019 model won’t have that many changes from the 2018 model. Apple hasn’t said a lot but that consumers should expect faster processors and an upgraded camera. So, it probably will have the 3 lens camera system on the back like the iPhone 11. These lenses include the 12 megapixel ultra wide, wide and telephoto. So to the few people out there who actually take pictures with their iPad, this could be good for you.
