22 Jump Street is the 2014 sequel to the hilarious buddy cop comedy 21 Jump Street. 21 Jump Street was based off a tv series by the same name that aired in the late 80’s. The series starred a young Johnny Depp that helped jump start his career. The concept of the show was young police officers going under cover as Highschool students to bust drug dealers. The movie reboot starred Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and Ice Cube. It came out in 2012 and was a massive box office hit so they made a sequel. Only this time in 22 Jump Street the police officers go undercover as college students to bust drug dealers. Jonah Hill’s character falls in love with a female student (like in the first one) and wants to impress her so he goes to a slam poetry session. Before the poetry some students are performing some improv comedy and they ask the audience members for some suggestions, which Channing Tatum’s character hilariously provides.

Pineapple Express is a 2008 action comedy movie that stars Seth Rogan, James Franco and Danny McBride. It’s about a stoner and his weed dealer who have to run away from corrupt cops and hit men because they witnessed a murder. It’s a very funny film, if you haven’t seen it yet you need to asap. It was a very successful film, it made over $100 million on just a $26 million budget. Seth Rogan and James Franco absolutely killed it in this movie, Franco even was nominated for a Golden Globe.
The film opens in 1937 in an underground secret testing facility owned by the American Government. They are testing out the affects smoking marijuana has on soldier’s brains. Bill Hader plays the soldier smoking the doobie and it’s one of the funniest scenes in the movie. They also filmed an alternate series of scenes where they test the weed out on multiple soldiers. It’s also very funny but a lot longer so that’s probably why they didn’t use it. Watch it and you’ll see a lot of familiar faces.

It’s about a 20- something year old slacker who has a one night stand with a drunk woman, who is way out of his league and very career orientated. The woman gets pregnant but despite the challenges they decide to keep the baby and try to make the relationship work. The film was a big box office hit that made $219 million on a $30 million budget.
Seth Rogan plays the slacker who lives in a house with all his slacker friends. They all refuse to grow up, smoking weed all the time and drinking beer everyday. In the film Jason Segel, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and Martin Starr play Seth Rogan’s friends who all plan to become rich by making a celebrity porn website. After they find out Seth Rogan got the lady pregnant they all have different opinions on what he should do. Some are happy for him but some tell him to terminate the pregnancy. The film is about an orphan boy who crawls into Santa’s gift sack and is accidentally transported back to the North Pole. The baby boy is adopted by the elf couple who raise him as their own. The boy grows up into a man named Buddy, who is played by Farrell. Buddy has a hard time fitting into the Elf society due to his human size. When Buddy finds out he is actually a human he goes to New York to find his biological father and to also spread Christmas joy. Elf was a massive hit, it made $220 million on a $33 million budget. In a funny deleted scene in the beginning of the movie, Buddy plays hockey with the elves. Due to his size in comparison to everyone elses he is really good.

Jason Segel plays a music composer working in Hollywood who does the sound score for a tv show which his girlfriend of five years is the star character. After his girlfriend abruptly breaks up with him, Jason goes to Hawaii to vacationing try to forget about her. It gets awkward when his ex girlfriend and her new rock star boyfriend are also vacationing at the same exact resort. In a deleted scene Jason attends a yoga class that his ex and boyfriend also take. Jason tries to keep up with the complicated yoga moves despite not being any good.

After Ron is late for a show, the news director puts Veronica as the lead anchor and the ratings go through the roof because she’s the first female lead news anchor. Ron becomes jealous and plots his revenge with the help of his buddies. In a funny deleted scene, the sportscaster, named Champ Kind, who is an overly machismo, closeted gay man, professes his love for Ron.

But Farrell becomes angry when his present isn’t as cool as Reilly’s.
