Three’s Company - John Ritter In Short Shorts

Three’s Company was a sitcom that aired for 8 years on ABC in the late 1970’s through the early 1980’s. It’s about a guy (John Ritter) who platonically lives with two single girls in a California apartment. The show chronicles their social lives, mishaps, money problems, you get the picture. In the 1980’s it wasn’t uncommon to see grown men in short shorts. Like I’m talking a little too short of shorts, but that was the style back then. In the final season of Three’s Company, John Ritter goes into a bedroom to change. He’s rocking the short shorts look, he sits on the bed, puts up his leg, takes off his sock and… something peeps out for a second. You can probably guess what it is.

However, when it aired live people didn’t know that one of John Ritter’s nuts made a cameo because the picture wasn’t sharp enough. 80’s tv wasn’t quite up to par with 4k yet. It wasn’t until 2001, when a kid was watching a re-run of the episode on Nick at Nite when he spotted the testicle. He told Nickelodeon and they checked to see for themselves. They released a statement of the matter saying “yes, his scrotum falls out of his shorts.” That means that John Ritter was flashing TV audiences for 18 years and no one knew. John Ritter’s statement of the whole matter was “I’ve requested that they air both versions, edited and unedited. Because sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don’t.”

Nicky Minaj - Good Morning America 2011

Back in 2011, Nicky Minaj was the hot new artist breaking out into the mainstream. She was touring with Britney Spears on the Femme Fatale tour and her album sales were doing great. She went on Good Morning America in New York City, to participate in their concert series. Her performance was fine, the sold out crowd seemed to enjoy it, there was just one little problem though. As Nicky was dancing and bouncing around, her left nipple peeked out of her top. You can see Nicky messing around with her shirt several times in the video. The was a 5 second delay on the live video but the producers didn’t catch it in time, but they did edit it out for later timezones and showings. Nicky Minaj didn’t address the nip slip at the time but in an interview about a year later she apologized for the incident and denied the allegations that she did it in purpose for attention.

Jennifer Hudson - Chelsea Lately

Jennifer Hudson is a ginormous star but she tends to keep out of the spotlight. Her career started in 2004 when she placed 7th in the third season of American Idol. In 2006, she acted in the film Dreamgirls and won an Oscar, a Grammy and a BAFTA Award for her performance. She went on to produce studio albums, two of which she received Grammy Awards for. By 2013 she had a Hollywood star. That’s pretty incredible to do in just ten years. But of course, with all that attention of being a star, something embarrassing is bound to happen. In 2013, Jennifer Hudson went on the show Chelsea Lately and narrowly escaped a major wardrobe malfunction. It being a talk show, Jennifer Hudson sat down and the zipper to her skirt (which was in the front) came undone. The whole front of the skirt was falling as Hudson and Chelsea grabbed it. Hudson stood back up, fixed her skirt, with Chelsea’s help and then slowly sat back down again. This was the first time Chelsea and Jennifer had met each other. The whole scene is pretty hilarious.

Lebron James - 2015 NBA Finals

In Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals, Lebron James had a rough day. In the first half he only managed to score ten points and he got a nasty cut on his head by colliding with a camera man. But the worst of it came before the game even started. While Lebron was standing in a team huddle, he needed to adjust himself. With guys’ anatomy, sometimes things can get a little out of place and uncomfortable. He untucked his jersey, he adjusted his shorts but then he adjusted his compression shorts underneath. That’s when like 18 million people saw a new side of Lebron. Twitter immediately responded with tweets saying they just saw Lebron’s Johnson on TV. Soon it was all over the internet and the next day it was a front page news.

Monique Coleman - Dancing With the Stars

Monique Coleman is an actress, singer and dancer who starred in the popular Disney films, High School Musical. She also had a recurring role in the Disney series, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, and she appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2006. Her partner was Louis van Amstel, a Dutch ballroom dance champion. During the show in one of their dance routines for the judges, Monique’s heel snagged onto her dress and pulled it down a bit, exposing Monique’s top half of her booty. The look on her face when it happened was pretty priceless. She quickly pulled her skirt up and continued dancing with a giant smile on her face. After they had finished, the host commented “I know that jump (into her partners arms) scared the ‘everything’ out of you.” Then Coleman replied with a laugh “It did. It scared my clothes off, apparently.” Coleman was able to laugh it off and so was everyone else. Her and her partner made to fourth place before they were eliminated.

Miley Cyrus - 2015 MTV VMA’s

In 2015, Miley Cyrus hosted the MTV VMA’s. During which she had multiple wardrobe changes of very interesting outfits. That year Taylor Swift won Video of the Year. When the cameras were on Taylor celebrating with her friends around her the show cut to backstage where Miley was getting a wardrobe change. She was speaking to the camera while covering herself up using a curtain. A producer then hands her a microphone so people can hear what she’s saying. As Miley grabs it her left boogie is revealed. MTV then switches the camera to show the crowd and stage while Miley is still talking. Someone finally tells her what’s going on and the audio of that is heard live too; “What’s happening? Oh I’m sorry. My tits out?” She then went hosting the show like nothing happened. She was pretty unfazed by it all.

Janet Jackson - 2004 Super Bowl

In 2004, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake headlined at the Super Bowl half time show in Houston, Texas. At the very end of the song, which was “Rock Your Body” by Timberlake, Justin reached over and pulled off a piece of Janet’s outfit exposing her breast for 9/16ths of a second before cutting to a commercial. That 9/16ths of a second was seen by 140 million people in the world and all hell broke loose. Over half a million people complained to the Federal Communications Commission, who then issued a half a million dollar fine to CBS. The NFL was asked to refund the $10 million to the halftime show’s sponsor. Janet Jackson apologized for the incident and Justin talked about it in an interview with MTV saying “he got probably 10 percent of the blame.” Meaning Janet Jackson took most of the blame and all of the consequences. MTV stopped playing her music, and MTV’s parent company Viacom stopped playing her music on all the radio channels they own, which is a lot. You got to feel sorry for her because for an accident Janet really got hit hard. Since then her career basically fizzled out, while it pretty much launched Justins.
